ARTIFACT: Circa 1961 famous baseball commississary company cafeteria plate of the Harry M. Stevens Incorporated. An early Stevens is believed to have invented the hot dog. The round plate was made by Shenango China in Newcastle, Pennsylvania and features to lions holding a shield with a letter: "S" in the center and underneath a scroll that reads: "HARRY M. STEVENS INC.". The bottom shows a nice maker's mark that reads: "SHENANGO CHINA NEWCASTLE, PA. U.S.A. RIMROL WELROC P Y19"

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 9" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted ceramic/china
