ARTIFACT: This is a Circa 1960's - 1970's Val Verde County Texas Deputy Constable Circle Star Badge Made from 1948 Mexican 5 Peso Coin. Iconic Texas Cinco Pesos Circle Star Lawman Badge of eventual Val Verde County Commissioner Joe Everett. Badge most likely Made by Simmangs in San Antonio.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s - 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-9/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Coin Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: CINCO-PESOS 30 GRAMOS. LEY 0.900.1948: FIVE-PESO 30 GRAMS. LAW 0.900.1948
