ARTIFACT: This is a Circa 1941 San Antonio Texas Police & Fire Commissioner Badge of Preston Louis Anderson, a member of the Texas Congress off and on from 1927 to 1941, when he served as the Commissioner of both San Antonio's Police Department, and Fire Department. 


The badge comes with a modern plaque from a historical display. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1941.

SIZE: Approximately Badge: 2-3/16" x 1-3/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has some light wear and tarnishing.
