ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1917 1st issue badge for the New Hope Fire Company, of Glenbrook (Stamford), Connecticut. The shield-shaped badge is numbered 89 and has firefighting equipment at the top. It was made by the C.G. Braxmar Company of New York.

VINTAGE: Circa 1917.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: C.G. BRAXMAR CO. 242 W. 56 ST. N.Y.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Connecticut fire chaplain badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX14 LADEX6/14 SGGX2/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light wear, mostly to the numbers.
