ARTIFACT: Great circa 1900 Dover, New Hampshire advertising/promotional bookmark from E.J. Ackroyd Footwear on Washington Street. The bookmark is heart shaped, tin-stamped with floral details, a bow, and gold tassel reading: "E. J. ACKROYD, LADIES' & GENT'S FASHIONABLE FOOTWEAR, 101 WASHINGTON ST., DOVER"

VINTAGE: Circa 1900

SIZE: Approximately 2 ¼" x 2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped tin and paint.

ATTACHMENT: Tab lifts to sit on top edge of page.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a vintage advertising collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay CON-DMB-25-15 LCEX3/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): Bookmark shows mild wear, small piece of newsprint caught in tassel and small spot of oxidation on reverse, nearly all the painted details remain fully intact.
