ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900-1910 fireman's badge from York Beach, Maine. York is a popular vacation spot in southern Maine that was established in 1624 as Agamenticus (the mountain there still bears that name).

VINTAGE: Circa 1910-1910.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin (catch is missing).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Ebay VBJX12 LADEX4/12 SHAX2/15

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The badge shows spots of moderate wear and much of the painted lettering has been worn away; the catch is missing.
