ARTIFACT: Circa 1880 Portsmouth, New Hampshire fire department Col. Sise Steam Fire Engine 2 Foreman badge in hand engraved sterling silver. The shield shaped badge features nicely detailed engraving along the outer edge and the badge reads: "FOREMAN S.F.E. COL. SISE 2 WE'LL TRY".

VINTAGE: Circa 1880.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height X 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with drop in locking forked catch.

MARKINGS: None.
