ARTIFACT: This is a bullion United States Army Transportation Service officer hat badge with band. The badge is an eagle with a crest perched upon two crossed anchors.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 3-3/8" height and 10" width (as band is meant to be sewn).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads with cotton backing; cotton elasticized band.

ATTACHMENT: Hat band (stitching has come undone so band is two straps rather than connected in a loop).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX03 LAAEX5/10 SLAGEX11/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows some areas of light tarnish only and hat band has come unsewn.
