ARTIFACT: This is a World War I homefront machine gun munitions worker badge in bronze by Gorham Company. The badge has a bar at top that reads WAR WORKER, and the medallion shows a man at a forge alongside an eagle.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with safety-style catch on bar, suspension rings.

MARKINGS: GORHAM CO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI homefront worker collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX13 LABEX9/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge some small areas of light wear and tarnish and a small spot of minor oxidation.
