ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified badge by Young & Company from Auckland. The badge is round in black enamel and reads FA'AMATALAUPU WESTERN SAMOA with a palm tree-studded star at center.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: 1-1/2" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops with cotter pin.

MARKINGS: YOUNG & CO. AUCKLAND.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified. VAJX00 LX10/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Pin has spots of light wear and tarnish and one small piece of enamel is missing.
