ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II United States Army Air Forces enlisted man overseas cap with an unidentified insignia. The insignia is a black wool patch embroidered in red lettering that reads either AATF or AAFT.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximate size 7 1/2 (11-3/4: along bottom edge).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, silk interior, wool felt patch embroidered in silk/cotton thread.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. The item will not be sold until it is identified. MBJX98 LX4/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The cap is in nice condition with no staining and a few small moth holes near the insignia.
