ARTIFACT: Unidentified WWI – WWII (?) European (?) Aviation related bullion eagle/bird wing/insignia/badge. The center shows a stylized eagle or bird with two legs and a propeller centered between two nicely embroidered bullion wings against a wool felt background.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI – WWII (?)

SIZE: Approximately 4" x 1-3/16

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion embroidered wool felt with paper backing

ATTACHMENT: N/A, was removed from clothing

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of unidentified artifacts which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified. VEJX16 LX7/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The artifact shows mild to moderate wear, was removed from clothing, some of the paper backing remains intact, bullion shows handsome patina, overall excellent condition.
