ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified French-made, possibly Polish badge from World War I. The badge shows an eagle with its wings spread over two crossed rifles, and could be a silver-grade marksman badge, possibly for Polish units serving with the French.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VEJX11 LX9/11

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some small spots of light to medium wear and has a light tarnish.
