ARTIFACT: Unknown WWI era shipbuilding corporation employee badge. The nickel plated brass badge reads: "G.R.S.B. 5499 CORP'N"…the letter 'G' has a curious look and could also be a "C", the letters show remnants of black painted detail. The reverse shows heavy solder to the findings and a well-worn pin.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI era

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 1-5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with 'C' catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified. MIX16 LX2/16

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy surface wear, some of the painted and plated details remain intact.
