ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified lapel wing, possibly for the Women's Army Corps, showing a crest with the letters WAC against a red field.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enameled details.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: L.G. BALFOUR CO. on backing.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. LX1/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows very light wear and tarnish only with one very small spot of enamel missing.
