ARTIFACT: This is an unusual (and unidentified) circa late 1950s set of DeWitt "Vise-Grip" pliers with a specialized jaw. The pliers have an unusual clamp and are painted army green. There is a partial foil label on one side covering the DeWitt logo - perhaps this was a label from a vendor or a new company formed after DeWitt.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in width and 9-1/2" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted steel.

ATTACHMENT: Spring.

MARKINGS: VISE-GRIP¨ logo on one side; DEWITT logo covered over by partial foil label reading MFG. and PASADENA).

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. CON-SAT-13 LX7/13

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The pliers have some light wear and the foil label on one side is coming off.
