ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified silver medal, possibly for the Debreczin Gymnastics Club of Hungary, which formed in 1867 in Hungary's now second largest city. The medal is silver with a lovely filigreed edge and the Debreczin crest at its center. On the reverse of the medal are the words Debreczeni Torna Egyesulet (Debreczin Gymnastics Club) and DIJ.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension loop.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. RBJL93 LX8/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent-): The medal is in lovely shape with a handsome overall tarnish.
