ARTIFACT: This is a worker lapel badge for an unknown manufacturing company (W.B. Manufacturing Company). The pin is numbered 323 in blue enamel on its front beneath a spinning wheel. It may perhaps be for a woolen or cotton mill, possibly in the Portsmouth/Rochester, New Hampshire area. The badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, New Jersey.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s - World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 9/16" in height and 9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK NJ.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VEX13 LX2/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows light wear and tarnish.
