ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1860s or 1870s naval insignia for an unknown country. The badge is a large anchor and is made in silver-plated brass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1860s-1870s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T-style pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAJX13 LX3/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light wear and an all-over tarnish.
