ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified gold-filled aviation lapel wing, possibly for a flight engineer or a civilian aircraft mechanic.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: GOLD FILLED.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. LHE?X7/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish, mostly on the reverse.
