ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified badge showing an interlocking capital D and W at center in red and blue enamel. The badge has a white background and a doily-like shape, and seems to have a collegiate design.

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: Maker's mark and information has been scratched out and some words (possibly some Roman numerals and McNALLY) have been scratched in above.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an unidentified collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. REV LX12/10

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows only light wear to the enamel but the reverse has been marred and there is one small spot of oxidation.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
