ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified Chinese medal from the early twentieth century. It is similar in design to service medals given out by some United States societies. The arms of the star are enameled, with a golden sun at the center of the medal. It has a maker mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa early 20th century.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/16" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel, silk.

ATTACHMENT: Ribbon, horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: KONG SUN SHANGHAI, diamond maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until it is identified. VAJX12 LX1/13 SBJJX3/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal shows light wear only.
