ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified stick pin for a German veteran, presumably Stahlhelm (steel helmet) related. The pin shows an owl clutching a helmet and has perhaps an 8 painted on his breast. The pin was made in Munich and has a maker mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, painted detail.

ATTACHMENT: Stick pin.

MARKINGS: DESGNLER & S. MUNCHEN 9.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Item will not be sold until identified. MBEL13 LX9/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The pin has small areas of light to medium wear and minor tarnish.
