ARTIFACT: Beautiful WWII United States Navy W.A.V.E.S ring in 10K gold and enameled sterling silver (unmarked). The center shows the W.A.V.E.S emblem, an anchor and propeller in 10K gold against a background of blue enamel. The W.A.V.E.S, or the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, were the first women to serve in the army as a division of the US Navy

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately size 5; 5/8" x 3/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10K gold, enamel, unmarked sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: To be worn on finger.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Navy WAVES collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VGEX16 LCCEX11/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The ring shows minor wear, nicely tarnished, much of the enameled details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
