ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful World War II security sergeant badge for Reynolds Metals. Reynolds had been supplying wrappers since 1919 under the name U.S. Foil Company. It changed its name to Reynolds Metals in 1928, two years after they started manufacturing aluminum foil. The badge is beautifully enameled in light aqua blue and shows a Trojan-like hero slaying a dragon.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a manufacturing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX05 LBGEX2/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some small spots of light to medium wear and a moderate tarnish on reverse; all enamel is intact.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
