ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful Model 1913 (World War I) Austrian Air Force pilot badge (Feldpilotenabzeichen 1913) produced in the 1920s for wear by a veteran. The badge is an eagle against a green enameled wreath with the Kaiser's beribboned crown at the top. A small white shield near the bottom bears the initials of Kaiser Franz Joseph I (FJI).

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.
