ARTIFACT: Beautiful WWI era Order of the Romanian Crown Grand Officer, 2nd Class Breast Star. The large medal resembles a starburst and the center features a red enameled medallion with a nicely detailed Royal crown atop and a white enameled ring surrounding that reads: "PRIN NOI INSINE 14 MARTIE 1881"

VINTAGE: Circa WWI era

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated silver, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical hinged pin with 'C' type catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJJX16 LHGEX3/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The medal shows moderate to heavy wear, light crazing to enamel, some of the plating details remain intact.
