ARTIFACT: This is a rare and beautiful Golden Eaglet award from early Girl Scouts in 10 karat gold. This was the highest award available from 1919 to 1939. This large size, measuring 1-1/8 inches by 1-1/8 inches, was the first to become available; the miniature size became available in 1929 and the medium size in 1934. The reverse of the pin has 1932 and the original owner's initials very lightly scratched upon it.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10 karat gold.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: 10K ; MB 1932 scratched on reverse.
