ARTIFACT: Beautiful, minty circa 1901 – 1905 United States Army 14th Cavalry Regiment Troop I Enlisted Man collar insignia, as worn in the Philippine Islands. The unit was organized in Kansas during 1901 and were stationed in the Philippines from 1903 – 1906 during the Philippine – American War. The collar insignia shows crossed swords with the number: "14" above and the letter: "I" below.

VINTAGE: Circa 1901 - 1905

SIZE: Approximately 2 3/8" x 1 3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Blackened bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with 'C' catch

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): Collar insignia shows minor wear and is in overall minty condition.
