ARTIFACT: Beautiful, minty 1990's Ð 00's Biddeford, Maine Police Officer Badge by Blackinton. The large shield shaped, gilt and chrome badge features a nicely detailed enamel State Seal in the center that reads: "STATE OF MAINE". The top of the badge features an eagle with spread wings and a bowed head and below are gilt scrolls which read: "OFFICER", "BIDDEFORD", "POLICE", and "MAINE".

VINTAGE: Circa 1990's Ð 00's

SIZE: Approximately 3 1/2" x 2 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and chrome plated brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "BLACKINTON", "B736", "R(?)OH-GLO¨013"

CONDITION: 9 (Excellent&emdash;Near Mint): The badge shows minor wear, nearly all the gilt, chrome plating, and enamel details remain fully intact, overall minty condition.
