ARTIFACT: Beautiful little WWII United States Army Air Forces pilot cap or sweetheart wing made in Mexico in sterling silver. The center of the pin is a US Shield with nicely detailed wings on either side and the reverse reads: "MADE IN MEXICO STERLING".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS: "MADE IN MEXICO STERLING"

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The wing shows minor to moderate wear and tarnishing, overall very fine condition.
