ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful Imperial Bavarian veterans ribbon which reads VET.-U. KRIEGER-VEREIN on one end and HAAG A. D. AMPER on the other. The pin part of the ribbon, which reads In Treue Fest (In True Faith), is a crown and sword with a painted blue-and-white diamond patterned shield.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/2" in height (including ribbon) and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold plated stamped brass with painted details and silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-type pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAEX10 LAAEX12/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The ribbon has light tarnish and wear and a small spot of oxidation on the brass.
