ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful Early World War II American Flying Services Foundation donation badge. This organization helped pay for the treatment of physical defects so that those affected could fly.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 1-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold plated and enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with locking over-under catch

MARKINGS: "AFSF. AMERICAN FLYING SERVICE FOUNDATION. PAT. ARRL'D FOR ACCESSOCRAFT."

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Light wear, some enamel damage, but otherwise in Very Fine+ condition.
