ARTIFACT: Beautiful early Occupation Period, late 1940's United States Army 705th Tank Destroyer Battalion distinctive insignia, German-made. The center shows a red 'burst' or 'explosion' surrounded by a white cloud against a blue background and a scroll along the bottom reads: "ONE ROUND" in black enameled detail.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" x 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS: "C. POELLATH", "SCHROBENHAUSEN"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army DI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VGX16 LABEX12/16 SABEX8/18

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The DI shows minor wear, much of the gilt and enameled details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
