ARTIFACT: Beautiful early 1930's Humboldt County, California Deputy Sheriff six point star badge by P & M.K. Co. This prohibition era badge has a great, early look and was no doubt made from a die pre-dating the Patrick & Moise Klinkner Co. merger of 1930. The badge reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF HUMBOLDT COUNTY" in black detailed stamped lettering and the reverse shows a period re-solder of the pin. Again, great look!

VINTAGE: Circa early 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel, black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with "C" type catch, saddle and period re-solder to pin.

MARKINGS: "P. AND M.K. CO."

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, period re-solder to pin, much of the black painted and nickel plated details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
