ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful Chinese-made United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Air Wing shoulder patch. The patch is diamond-shaped in red silk and shows a golden eagle, globe and anchor above the Roman numeral one.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945-1946.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 3-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk embroidered in cotton/silk threads with cotton muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.
