ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa 1943 English-made United States Army Air Forces 9th Air Force patch-type DI. The DI is round and nicely enameled.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal Y (British kick) pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.
