ARTIFACT: This item is a Portland, Oregon Civil Defense Auxiliary Police badge circa the Korean War. Atop the badge perches an eagle, as is typical with badges of this type. The number on the badge reads "4510." There is also an enameled blue circle in the middle of the badge with a white triangle inside of it with the letters "CD" in red. The "CD" stands for "Civil Defense."

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 1-5/8

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "PORTLAND AUXILIARY-POLICE. CD. 4510

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Minimal wear. The enamel is in very good condition.
