ARTIFACT: Beautiful circa 1952 Connecticut Light & Power Co. 35 years of service lapel pin by the Whitehead & Hoag Co. in Newark, New Jersey. The center of the gold filled pin features a raised, enameled light bulb that reads: "CLPCo" and surrounding it reads: "THE CONNECTICUT LIGHT & POWER CO. 35 YEARS". The reverse shows a makers mark and reads: "1/10 10KT GOLD FILLED".

VINTAGE: Circa 1952.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in length x 3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10K gold fill, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: "1/10 10KT GOLD FILLED", Whitehead & Hoag makers mark.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The service pin shows minor to moderate wear, a spot of cracked enamel near the top of the bulb and the letter: "C", much of the gold fill and enamel details remain.
