ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful circa 1930s Deco pottery water pitcher by Camark. Camark, originally begun in 1926 as the Camden Art Tile and Pottery Company, shortened its name soon afterward to an abbreviation for Camden, Arkansas. Camark was in business until the 1960s. The pitcher is in a lovely matte glaze, in marbled shades of golden butterscotch and piney green. It has a rectangular handle and the original, intact cork stopper capped in pottery.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1930s.
SIZE:
Approximately 6-3/4" in height and 8-1/4" in width from tip of cork to end of handle.
