ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful 1910's sterling silver Newport News, Virginia Volunteer Fire Co No. 1 Fireman Badge. The badge has a wonderful patina, with great design on the eagle and the laurel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" x 1-1/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with open "C" type wire catch

MARKINGS: "VOL. FIRE CO. NO. 1 NEWPORT NEWS, VA."
