ARTIFACT: This is a Silver Afghanistan 1878-80 Service Medal of Captain S.J. Butler 2nd BN. 14th Prince of Wales Own Regiment.

VINTAGE: 1878s - 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-3/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, Silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T-style pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: CAPT. S.J. BUTLER. 2ND BN. 14TH REG

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain medal collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJM15 LGGEX02/09/25

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The medal shows storage wear and tarnish, and ribbon is worn very much. Overall, this beautiful medal is in excellent condition as 1878 - 1880.
