ARTIFACT: This is a 45th Overseas Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Forces collar badge from Manitoba. The badge is shaped like a maple leaf with a crown at top and a crest bearing a bison at center. The badge reads OVERSEAS BATTALION MANITOBA 45 CANADA.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 1-1/4" height and 1-3/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops for attachment.

MARKINGS: R. INGLIS LIMITED (partially obscured).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX05 LFJX 6/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge shows light wear and tarnish, with a slight bend in one leaf tip.
