ARTIFACT: This is a United States Air Force 43rd Division Aviation (in the 1930s) and 118th Observation Squadron (in the 1940s) distinctive insignia (DI) pin. The pin is round with a yellow background and black border and shows the Connecticut Colonial secretary hurrying on foot carrying the colonial charter.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: 1" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: W&H CO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX07 LBBEX07/08 SBBEX11/21

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine): Pin has a slight ding on the esge and very little tarnish on reverse.
