ARTIFACT: This is a very rare badge from the 1st Escadrille Reconnaissance Group or the Bombardment Assault Group, GBA 1-54. The badge is made by G. Moret and is maker-marked on the back beneath the catch for the pin.

VINTAGE: 1930's-1940's.

SIZE: 1" in height by 7/8" in width (2.6 cm by 2.3 cm).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver plated brass and enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-type pin with simple catch attached to the back.

MARKINGS: Very hard to see under the catch, but it reads: G MORET PARIS, 79 FAUBOURG DU TEMPLE.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of French items which we will be listing more of over the next months. MAJX06 LIGEX05/11 SIGEX11/24/20

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-) This badge is in a very good condition. There are a few cracks in the enamel on the upper left and on the lower right corner, but otherwise this badge is in excellent condition.
