ARTIFACT: This is a 1st annual 1919 Aeronautical Exposition in New York medal. The medal reads FIRST ANNUAL AERONAUTICAL EXPOSITION NEW YORK MARCH 1-15, 1919 and shows the Statue of Liberty, airplanes and a winged insignia. The medal hangs from a red, white and blue striped ribbon.p>

VINTAGE: Circa 1919.

SIZE: 3" height (including ribbon) and 1-5/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass medal with enamel and silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C' catch.

MARKINGS: JOHNSON MFG. CO. 14 CHURCH ST. N. Y.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin shows light wear and there is slight discoloration on ribbon.
