ARTIFACT: This is a 1987 Royal Perth Yacht Club America's Cup lapel pin. The 1987 America's Cup was a Yacht Race of which the title holder was of the Royal Perth Yacht Club out of Perth, Australia, who took the title in 1983. In the states, this Cup was known as the 1987 Defender Series.

VINTAGE: Circa 1987

SIZE: Appr: 3/4" x 5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with locking drop-in swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "RPYC AMERICA'S CUP 1987"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Racing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBX17 LBHX7/17

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The enamel is in good shape with light scratches and wear. There is a nice patina on the reverse.
