ARTIFACT: This is a 1980s airline wing for Dominicana (Dominicana de Aviaci—n), a company that started out flying from the Dominican to locales such as the US, Spain and Puerto Rico in 1944. The company ceased to exist in 1999. The wing shows a capital D with a slender aircraft shooting through it.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAEL93 LFEX5/11 SGJX1/12

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The wing shows some very small spots of light wear only and has a nice lustre.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
