ARTIFACT:
1980's ??? 1990's Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Department of Defense Police Lieutenant badge. The center of the badge shows an eagle, wings spread bearing a shield on its chest and clutching arrows in its talons ??? above thirteen raised stars and below a wreath embellishment. The center is slightly raised and encircled by an enamel ring that reads: "DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". The badge is topped with an eagle and below the badge reads: "POLICE LIEUTENANT NAVAL SHIPYARD PTSMH" in painted detail.
