ARTIFACT: This is a paperback first edition copy of "Chindits; Long Range Penetration", Weapons Book Number 34 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by Michael Calvert, this volume deals with the British India Special Force deployed to Burma to engage in guerilla warfare in 1943-1944. It has several black and white photographs and was published in 1973. SIZE: 160 pages; approximately 8-1/4" in height and 5-7/16" in width.
